There was the small rustling sound of the bushes as a large paw brushed aside some fronds that covered her path. Gleaming eyes gleamed mischievously as a Luxio appeared in the forest. She turned her head from side to side, checking to see if anyone was following her. So far, so good, this Luxio was on a roll, and she had managed to get farther away from her home to go exploring. She grinned in confidence to herself, thinking that she was perfectly safe from any spying eyes. Really, it was almost like she was going to actually make it to the place she was aiming for. Glancing upwards quickly, Naomi checked the positioning of the sun, and seeing that it was only midday, continued trekking through all the underbrush. She wasn't checking for stealth now, and thus there was much snapping and crunching as Naomi continued on. Flicking her tail, the Luxio was itching for a chance to go exploring in one of the caves.
As Naomi reached the second to last land-mark, she closed her eyes in happiness. Finally! She was almost able to reach this place. She began to laugh, the thought of reaching the caves was so close that it just made the Luxio so excited. Hopefully, nobody was around to see such a display of childish behavior.
