A long thin line showed where the dragonair had traveled through. Her serpentile body scraping against the frosty land in an almost painful way. Of course flying would be so much easier but... She looked into the sky. Ah how nice it would be-
...
Blinking a few times the dragonair found herself with her face implanted into the snow. The ice bit at her cheek and left its cold wet kiss to frost to her sky-blue scales. She must've blacked out... again... Gah! What was this?! She was one of the might dragon pokemon belonging to the Jakkalse Tribe! And yet what was this? She was terrified of the thought of flying into the sky! With a heavy sigh, Els quickly shook her head to free it of the gripping frost. Her thoughts were still heavy on her fears. Her mind constantly wondering how it was that she perhaps get a few feet off the ground and even soar above the taller tree-tops of the forested areas. Yet in this open plain of nothing but ice, snow, and the occasionaly dead patch of vegitation Els had absolutely nothing to comfort herself when haveing to look down. Above the trees she felt comfortable 'cause she could actually land in them. Same with the hills. But not here, it was just far too open. So open she wouldn't be able to get more than probably a meter off the ground.
Times like these she was greatful that she didn't have guards like her dear sister. It was only because she was in the eyes of others that she would force herself to fly higher than she ever dared hoped. She couldn't even begin count how many times she had began to dive toward the ground in an attempt to save her heart who was literally choking her with fear.
Another heavy sigh came from the dragonair. Actually she was out here for that very reason. She wanted to be able to conquer her fears, to fly into the skies as her beloved tribe members could. How she longed to join them where even the flying-types couldn't reach. This was to be the first step. Fly without the comfort of trees or other landmarks to support you. It may have been a little too hasty to do this first but she just had to try. Earlier she did; what suprised her the most was... just how long she could hover without realizing she wasn't going up... So now here she was, slithering along. Her new destination was to head back to the den to devise a new plan. Hopefully it would be something that would have a much better result. The best she got was just how long her stamina could last at that insane amount of flapping (which was actual quite long mind you). She could ask a tribe member to help her but that was just not possible, it far too humiliating! No she wouldn't allow them to see her weakness. She had to be strong and figure out her own problems if she was going to be of any help.

Of course it would be cold especially for a heat dependant creature such as herself; still her stubborn nature had won this time. Why her mind puzzled still did she decide that cutting through the barren snowy plains would be a good idea in anyone’s right mind was beyond her, yet here she was her hood pulled tightly around her face and frill clutching tightly at her tight pant like skin.
Occasional burst of icy wind would cut across the smooth expanse of flesh and cutting deeply into the scales that coated her exposed belly. What she wouldn't give to be able to snuggle into the plush warmth of piloswine, or be carried by those towering giants built for this terrain! Still she trucked on her tiny legs aching with fatigue dragging her tail along behind her. The sun sat high in the sky if only it were close enough to allowing her a brief moment to bask in its luscious warmth.
Alas it couldn't be helped she squinted against the bright glare until her eyes picked out a small cave like opening “Hurrah!” she croaked feeling the icy air settle into the very marrow of her bones yet somehow reviving her will to power on, like a flame to a pile of dry wood Taryn moved with much haste towards the cave. Without so much of a second thought of possibly being devoured by a larger Pokémon she settled in wrapping her tail tightly about her, some ways into the cave shivering violently watching the snow whip hypnotically about outside.

And of course, the chill in the air decided to pick up its pace as the dragon decided to head back to the little cave she had stayed in temporarily to avoid these exact same frost-bitten winds. At times, she could just swear the elements were out to get her but then her sister may very well have much more trouble with the weather; with her wandering around usually. How her sister could ever leave the tribe to go search off on only The First could ever know... Ah might as well not dwell on such items. She had to admit, despite the worry at least it brought more energy to the mix. Least it kept things lively even if she did have to sometimes take care of the little things. After all, wouldn't it be bad if the links of the clan shook and broke? Yes it would be. She didn't need her sister to come home and find everything in absolute disrepair. Ah, that would just be dreadful...
Pushing her mind from the disastorous thoughts, Els could spot the dark entrance of a cave in the distance. Whether it had been the one she had been staying in before, she didn't know and technically, didn't care. She just wanted out of the wind now that it was starting to pick up. Even if she was ice-harded, the dragon still didn't like feeling cold. It made her eyes sting.
Her body moved smoothly toward the entrance. The darkness inside was just all too familiar and brought home to her a sense of recognition. All her life, these exact types of caves were always home to her. Entering the cave, Els wouldn't have noticed the other body that lie inside if it weren't the sound of chattering teetch. Even if the other hadn't been actually 'chattering', the constant motion of shivering couldn't be missed by a zubat. And those things had no eyes! Ugh... creepy buggers those were... Well at least this cold creature was no such eyeless oddness. No, in fact, this one looked much more like herself in the sense of being reptilian. A scrafty she was betting. Even with her tribes unsocial-like attitude toward other creatures, Els knew many of the types. How, well many things came with stories now didn't they?
The dragonair said nothing, merely looked at the creature. Her minds was in of sorts of ticking and clicking, wondering if she should help this miserable-looking outsider. Not even a moment passed when the dragon decided. She had no fire to offer the other but she could at least block off some of the cold drafts that entered. The winds outside were whipping around now; a storm? Not taking the time dwell on such wonders, Els brought her body to a safe distance away from the other. Her serpentile body stacking in a somewhat wall-like fashion to prevent the icy winds to enter so casually. Yes, the winds buffeted gently against her scales while the outer walls took more of the damage. Now it was a moment before the blue dragon spoke. Aren't you a little far into the ice for your own good? She asked, her head resting to look away from the other on the wall of her body. Thankfully, she knew how show some mercy. Besides, she needed to do the dragons some good reputationally.

Taryn sat huddled in the corner of the cave shivering violently. Her thick tail only proved to be somewhat helpful as she sat listening to angry howling winds outside the cave. Her entire body tensed hearing the tiny grains of rubble stir.
Had someone already claimed this cave she pondered feeling her heart thunder into her throat at the stranger's appearance would they attack her, or worse perhaps eat the very flesh from her bones? Due in part of the spares ice cold plains that she had foolishly chosen to travel. Shivering still Taryn finally spotted the long heavy serpentine body of an elegant looking Dragonair. Watching curiously as what she assumed was hopefully a friendly being quivering at the piercing gaze.
She watched anxiously as the elegant form slithered away from her. Mind racing a mile a minute over the horrifying thoughts. Perhaps this creature will wait till I'm frozen and devour me, or crush me already with that mighty form. Her thoughts muddled until the icy chill seized staring at her slowly stacking figure. Nearly jumping out of her scales when she spoke. "T-thank you that feels immensely better. I-I could ask you the same thing, but t-that would be silly seeing as you can handle this much better than I can." she croaked thankfully. Shuddering once more rubbing at her arms hopeful for some warmth "I was cutting through the plains to get to the woods and hopefully get to the Savannah." she said.
